If you want to change the standard
blue logon color, follow the next steps:
- Open the Registry Editor click on the Start button on
your taskbar, then click on Run and type "regedit"
and click on OK to start the regedit utility.
- Expand HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control
Panel\Colors\Background (see picture 1).

- Change the three numbers from the default of 58
110 165 to the RGB values you want, for example
110 110 255 is a fairly light blue, 0 0
0 would be black.
- Log off and log back on again to see the change.
